Firms can provide desktops as needed to short-term employees on a cloud virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Workforces can access the same applications across greater distances with cloud VDI solutions. Cloud VDIs provide quick substitutes in the event that employees can’t access their primary PCs. Employees can share more complex projects on a VDI hosted in the cloud. Changes in the way that employees work will dictate new directions for VDI.
